I waited at the bus station, soaking wet in the rain and all I could think about, was you.
While we ran in the grass during summer, remember I fell? All I could think about was how you thought I looked sprawled across the floor, flapping wildly after your hand.
And I laugh about it now. With laughter lines creasing my face and dilated pupils creating perfect images in my head of how we could have been. Because I never had you, but you always had me.
